Clearhips aren’t hard to do… but they are hard to do well!
Nastia Motuzok from @lagoldgymnastics takes us through some of her main Clearhip stations. As you can see she is not afraid to get in there and spot to help her athletes not only for safety, but more so to create the desired technique and shapes. The hollow chest through the drop under the bar is essential to keeping the best shape on the second half of the skill and once you invert the shape, it is incredibly difficult to recover the quality position. Help your athletes work the pressure on the drop and the body position and head alignment.
