Front Layouts over/between Blocks

Thanks @batohaarlem for posting this recently! We particularly liked that the athletes weren’t using the blocks to support the shoulders and simply rolling across as we’ve seen this done most often before. The gymnasts instead were using it as a guide for the height and direction of the layouts and trying to feel the contact of the boxes lightly with the hands to encourage keeping them back on the finish.

We started all of the athletes with a front handspring over/between the blocks. This progressed to a front layout with a light pressure and then as they advanced, they began to layout right over the top with the proper shaping.
