Controlled Shape Change from loaded coil to extension

Great way to teach the long shape change between a loaded/coiled position and the extended stretch. This uncoil process needs to be as efficient as possible if the athlete wants to have their maximum power of rotation or momentum at the end of the process.

This unload is how we create so much of the rotation that we require in gymnastics.
Try to avoid letting the athlete open the core and create any kind of shoulder angle as this usually creates a drag with the hands.
