Clamshells are a great exercise to develop core strength and stability. Athlete curls into compression and must hold their elbows in contact with their knees/thighs throughout the entire exercise. Partner holds ankles and rocks them back and forth slowly. Test your athletes with numbers and sets. Start with 5 and advance to 10-15 in a set. Or you can do it for time, 15-45 seconds.
