Ascend Gymnastics is the home base for Best Darn Gymnastics and was recently honored as The USAG Development Program National Program of the Year for 2022 (The first time a Region 2 club has ever been bestowed that honor). The team at Ascend sets a high bar for achievements having recently had multiple athletes crowned National Champions at level 9 and 10.

The last three years has seen national titles from Level 10 - Level 10 - Mackenzie Estep (All-Around, FX and BB - '23, V - '22, UB - '21), Isabelle Futch (Vault - '23), Jocelyn Sasson (‘22-Beam and All-Around, ‘21-Uneven Bars), Level 9 - Jordyn Castillo (‘22-Vault), and Level 9 - Leya Naumchuk (‘22-Vault). Ascend also recently qualified two athletes to the prestigious Nastia Cup in Mackenzie Estep (‘21 and ‘22) and Jocelyn Sasson (‘22).

Currently Ascend has an athlete on the USA Elite National Team in Shilese Jones. Shilese is now a 6x World Medalist earning Team Gold in '22 and '23, Silver AA and UB in '22, and Bronze AA and UB in '23). Current National Uneven Bar Champion. Fx and UB National Champion in '22.
